My art centers on capturing the enchanting wildlife of the North Shore of Lake Superior through the vibrant medium of acrylic paint on canvas. Driven by a deep appreciation for the natural beauty surrounding my Duluth home, I seek to provide a connection with the creatures I depict by rendering their eyes with great realism. From these windows to the soul, I aim to convey a sense of shared presence and the intrinsic value of these animals.

Northern Exposure Art
NXA is an ever-changing endeavor. My passion began with acrylic painting and slowly continues to morph as I find other projects to satisfy my creative brain. After about 10 years of navigating the art world, I’ve achieved my dream of being a freelance artist teaching paint classes, creating commissioned work, and designing graphics and logos for local businesses. Forever inspired by my exposure to the North, my work reflects the beautiful area in which I've chosen to plant my roots.
